Hi Bob,

The Gyros and, in my case, an accelerometer would be alot more useful if they returned more stable numbers.

And you don't have to use them to see if they return stable numbers.

Just start the Manager program and connect to the CM-510. Select the Ext. equipment tab then choose a device type on port 3 or port 4. Select a device of IR, distance, or user then watch the numbers to see if they are stable. Mine jump around even when the robot is motionless.
Statistics: Posted by Fritzoid — Mon Feb 22, 2010 9:03 pm

When I display the sensor output using RoboPlus Manager on the Ext. Equipment window the numbers jump up and down alot. They can vary from one reading to the next by as much as 5%!!! I've tried programming the CM-510 myself and the results are the same.

Here's my question to other Premium kit users.

Does your robot show stable numbers on the external equipment panel or do your numbers bounce around like mine?
Statistics: Posted by Fritzoid — Mon Feb 22, 2010 2:12 pm
