The servo is connected and powered from CM-5, so the other servos are connected on each others too. Just wonder how is the affection if I build a custom made cable for servos. Thanks for reply.
Statistics: Posted by Lonelucifer — Mon Oct 25, 2010 2:39 am

You should keep the cable length under one metre.

You may get longer distance if you use lower data rates.

Also it is better to not use the same cable for power and signal if going long distance. How is the servo powered.
Statistics: Posted by i-Bot — Fri Oct 22, 2010 10:15 am

Hi,

I'm new here, I have question regarding cables. Currently I plan to make a custom made connecting cable for one AX-12+ for my project, so I wanna know is there a length limit for the cable, if so what is the maximum length, since AX-12+ use TTL signal , I worry that a cable too long that will affect the performance of the AX-12+ (such as noise or lose signal due to length).

Thanks
Statistics: Posted by Lonelucifer — Fri Oct 22, 2010 4:47 am
