I'm a fan of visual studio 2010 C# to for any pc software, my teloperating is limited to the pc giving high level commands and receiving telemetry for analysis later.

At the CM5/CM510 end prototpye ideas in roboplus (I still hate the way it treats you like a 5year old) and finally in embedded C.

My interest lie in adaptive learning so not interested in motion files. Those that use them have bots far more capable than mine because it gets you going quick. I personnaly think it will prove to be an evolutionary dead end, but hey I been wrong before!

Dewey
Statistics: Posted by Dewey — Mon Dec 13, 2010 5:50 pm

I am in a similar frame of mind as yourself. I use roboplus for the motion files, a simple robo task program to act as a receiver and then teleoperate via bluetooth.
Typically the processing application is developed in .net be it for the pc or a windows mobile PDA. I am toying with the idea of trying Android as my htc is now running froyo which supports rfcomms

Pev
Statistics: Posted by Pev — Mon Dec 13, 2010 4:29 pm

I don't find usually doubts about Robotis Bioloid software and I'm curious about what we are using more.

I usually develop my motions using RoboPlus motion but to create the program I prefer C#, telecontrolling it by bluetooth from a PC or currently using a PDA as the brain.

What do you use to program and control your bioloid creations?
Statistics: Posted by siempre.aprendiendo — Mon Dec 13, 2010 2:11 pm
