I am wondering anyone tried to Draw the Schematic of MX-28 ?

The motor is a Maxxon RE-max. I didn't measure it but it appears the same as one in the RX-28.

Is the motor the same as the RX28 ? The largest part of the RX28 cost appeared to be in the Maxon motor.

With the STM32 processor supporting 4.5M speed, then I guess we will see something more of the Dynamixel 2 protocol and maybe some more interesting PID parameters, though the documents here

do not show any support for 4.5M or any other differences.

The encoder adds about $5 to component cost and the STM32 about $4. There is now also a 3.3V regulator, but they also went from the previous H bridge driver to MOS transistors. So component cost added is less than 10$, and build cost and increased reliability should also bring down cost. Do you have an ballpark price yet?

I thought I'd share a few photos of the internals of the new Robotis RX-28M dynamixel.
These new servos are very impressive with their magnetic encoder they have very little backlash and no servo whine that I've heard thus far.
It appears that the case and gears are identical to the RX-28 however the electronics are entirely different.
On the final output gear shaft is the diametral NIB magnet.
