Hi,

Thanks for replying to the post! Well the problem is fixed. There was a problem with one of the cable and I did use the terminal to check the sensor and the motors and everything was fine and went on to check the wires and realized that, the wire was faulty. >.<

Statistics: Posted by bohan — Thu Mar 17, 2011 1:50 am

Hi

The first thing I'd suggest doing is connecting ONLY the Sensor to the Controller and opening the Terminal to see if the sensor is detect when it's alone.

If you have Roboplus installed, instead of the Terminal you can use ROboplus Manager to check if it detects the Sensor module and you can also use Manager to read the Sensor parameters and check it's working propperly.

If still, when you connect ONLY the sensor to the controller it can't be found we suggest you send a support request to the place where you purchased it ( if it was from us, email us on support@robosavvy.com or sales@robosavvy.com )

Regards
Statistics: Posted by robosavvy — Wed Mar 16, 2011 1:41 pm

Hi,

I just build my puppy bioloid robot, however the sensor, AX-S1 kept ringing.
When connected with the terminal with the sensor wire attached, the terminal could not detect any motors.
Yet when the wire to the sensor was disconnected, all the motors were found.

Checked the cabling, but it looks fine and doubled checked the IDs with the manual, and it seems fine too.

Does anyone happens to know what had happened to the sensor??
Statistics: Posted by bohan — Tue Mar 15, 2011 10:41 am
