Hi all,

We went to a camp today and the person there gave us the solution to our problem. The problem was that we still had the Humanoid motion file downloaded to the robot and the King Spider task code downloaded. When the task code was running, it was reading from the Humanoid motion file and trying to do a Humanoid motion, which caused its legs to jam together. When we downloaded the King Spider motion file, it worked perfectly!

The All2JESUS team
Statistics: Posted by All2Jesus — Wed Aug 24, 2011 12:41 am

Hi,

We assembled our Bioloid Premium as a King Spider with the directions found on the CD that came with it (the directions can also be found online). Upon running the test program which we also downloaded from the CD (and which is also downloadable online), we had a problem with 2 of the legs. They jammed together for 5 seconds during which we could not move them. After that they moved a little bit and they were movable. It seems like the motors are moving in the wrong direction (the two legs move toward eachother). We tried switching the motors and it did not help.

We are wondering if anyone knows if the test program has a problem or if it is an assembly problem?

Thanks,

The All 2 JESUS team
Statistics: Posted by All2Jesus — Thu Aug 18, 2011 2:39 am
