I can understand your position and trying to get back as much ££ as possible. What is a second hand robot worth? As much as someone is willing to pay for it! Personally I think your best route is selling it on eBay with a reserve or a starting price. Let the folk on this forum know that it's going up for auction and let the bidding begin. I think you'll HAVE to let it go for less than you want, or not at all. That's my 2 cents worth, hope it helps.

When I buy a used car I buy a really used car(cheap) only because I mentally prepare myself that I will have to invest into possible repairs. This way I don't get fustrated thinking how I bought a lemon. If I buy from a used car dealer, I buy the extended warrenty and use it!

When I buy from ebay I use the same cautions. So for me I look for atleast a savings of 40-50% less than new for the simple fact that whatever happens with my purchase I can atleast afford to repair/replace or even scrap it out. I also know there is no real refund,replace or even repair from most ebay purchases.The refund policy always show a loop hole for the seller!. Plus the amount of work that needs to be done to file a claim and follow through makes it not even worth it because of the loop hole in the sellers policy. I have tried it and it did not work for me. I got scammed.
I am not saying you are a scammer! just expressing how I feel about that specific situation. Also many people who sell on forums like this very rarely continue to know the buyer after the sale is completed. Witch again makes feel uneasy.

Believe me when I say I understand you want to recoup as much of your investment as you can,I know I would. It is not easy.
I found trading for things I need a much better way to get what I want or need is more profitable than selling something used (even slightly used) then selling for a price close to the cost of new. But I also know cash is king!..lol.
I am interested in your bioloid but then again,for the securities I get when I buy new sure makes a big difference to me!

This is just my 2-cents,many will agree many will not but hey thats what makes us who we are..

Maybe you are right, but my theory about that is that you pay less then a new one, why people otherwise buy second hand cars etc..?
But ok, what would be a good price then to make the theory of selling a second hand robot work?
And what chance do i have to sell it on E-bay?

I'm not trying to rip people off, i'm just trying to get as much money back (your arguments taken in mind) from something i shouldn't have bought in the first place

Excuse me for being thick but what's the theory behind a semi-assembled (possibly badly) second hand robot being worth anything close to a brand new boxed one with full guarantee. Savvy's currently offering near free shipping for xmas and payable with a credit card that offers full refund protection in case of shipping loss, bankruptcy etc. etc.

You are probably right, but then people have to make a fair offer.
If i have to drop 260euros on something that's only a few day's old, i rather keep it for myself and then we both are of worst.
So let's make it 700euros, that's 60euros off and i'll even pay for shipping.

I hate to say it, but I think M4rk's right. As soon as you open the box, its value drops quite a bit. For an extra 20 euros, I think just about anyone would rather have a brand new kit straight from a major distributor.

But who knows, maybe you'll get lucky... don't forget to consider an eBay listing, which might reach a wider audience than this forum.

Don't think you have much chance of selling it that close to full price.

I would look at purchasing it if it was more like 500 euros.

Hello,

I'm selling my new(one week old) bioloid comprehensive kit.
The reason for this is that i'm not very good at this hobby it seems, and i bought it in a rush.
I also dropt my eyes on a new computer, so i can use the money.

I bought this robot here for 700euros so i would like to ask 740euros for it.
I only made one robot(Robot arm) with it.
