IR and light detector problem

It happens that when I use a combination of light detection and IR data to control a small Bioloid robot there is a conflict between both signals. That is to say, the incoming light port detects not only visible light but infrared light too! So when I send an IR command it detects it as both, an IR command, and a light signal.

To send IR data I use my own IR remote, so I suspect my IR remote is sending some light that is visible for the light detectors.

Has anyone used two AXS1 sensors with IR data and light sensors at the same time. Do you experience the same problem ?

On the other hand. What kind of light detectors are those used in AXS1. They look like ordinary IR sensors.
Statistics: Posted by inaki — Sun Dec 24, 2006 1:20 pm
