May be they want to "standardize" the types.

If there is enough memory is good to use one unique type parameters, because diversity in similar objects/parameters/variables is very error prone and difficult to catch.
Statistics: Posted by siempre.aprendiendo — Wed Mar 27, 2013 10:52 am

Maybe they want to turn off the LED also, and were too lazy to mention it. Or the LED was already off and nobody noticed. Either way it looks like just a silly error to me.
Statistics: Posted by Fritzoid — Wed Feb 13, 2013 3:25 pm

Hello! According to the control table for MX-28, Torque Enable in address 24 is either on or off. Can anybody explain why WriteWord which takes 2 bytes is used?

cm730.WriteWord(JointData::ID_R_SHOULDER_PITCH, MX28::P_TORQUE_ENABLE, 0, 0);

I suppose the second last 0 is for disabling the torque. What is the purpose of the last 0?
Statistics: Posted by petercohen — Wed Feb 13, 2013 2:02 am
