hi you can find all parts separtly on trossenrobotics.com
dont forget to uncheck the servo for the gripper in manager.
cause servo think its blokking and chutt down.
when you pick something up.

Hi guys - been having loads of fun with my Bioloid ^_^

Next i want to upgrade him to have the grippers. I have all the parts other than the required amount of screws. Any tips where i can pick up some WB M2x6 (i believe they are the right ones)

Try re installing the firmware.

Open Roboplus Manager and there should be a button to restore the Controller firmware (i don't remember the exact option anymore).

It should guide you through re installing the Robotis firmware on the controller which is essential to have Roboplus Motion and Task work correctly.

Hit appon an error :/

When i attach the robot using RoboPlus and download the program – I get

Error
Error detected. Unable to download!

=== Line Check (Untitled) ===
Unable to find ‘Start Program’
=== Total Error: 1 ===

Is there a way to fix this?

Hi Gort,

I had a crack at putting together my first motion last night and found it surprising easy!

Ok 3 hours for a move isn't the quickest, but i think i've put together something really cool looking - I've gone for a block stance, which im hoping the robot can use to defend from attackers.

I've widened his base to give him more stability, twisted his torso to give the attacker less to his and rased the right arm to gard the body.

Really getting into this ^_^

I'm going to give the high kick ago over the bank holiday friday - I'll update on my progress.

Thanks for the tip, although it seems their community pages are unavailable?

Is there normally a forum on that site?

If i cant find anything, i'll have a crack at making my own (that is the next step, really) What would people sugest would be a good first motion...

Im thinking adding a Block to the fighting style, or maybe the high kick thats on the literature that comes with bioloid

I've moved on since my last post in the creation of a "phil" mode.
I picked out R and assigned it to a selection of standard moves - All working as hoped ^_^

Quick question: Does anyone have any none standard motions for Bioloid GP and would be willing to share? I'd like to get him doing something different and see how this process works (without going through the effort of developing any from scratch, just yet)

Thanks for the Info Gort, thats really helped alot ^_^

I figured out how to see the command code and how each move is put together, I guess if i wanted to put together my own mode (e.g. phil custom mode) i could chop and change the the bio_gp_humanoid_en.tsk code or just add to the end.

Currently U = Soccer mode D = Battle mode and L/R = Performance

If change performance to just = L
That leaves me R to put together phil custom mode!
I'm thinking just a mixture of the existing kicks and punches, just to see if i can do it

Does all that sound possible Gort? Love to hear your thoughts (y)

I don't think you can download the code from your robot.

The default program in the GP should be the same as the one in the robot.

Look at the tutorials here for ideas on how to program your robot

Hi RoboSavvy,

Just having a look around the RoboPlus Task - One question: Is it possible to download the current .tsk file from the robot?

I've managed to open a .tsk file I found from support.robotis
(bio_gp_humanoid_en.tsk) Which I'm guessing is the same on installed on the robot ^_^

I believe the robot already has the basic program set up (e.g. the 3 modes, soccer, battle and performance)

I'm very new to all this and wanted to know if there a way i can see the "code" that lets him kick

My end game is to create my own mode that combines punches and kicks
