keep in mind that when using a servo also need servo controler card (an any case if the servo its a pwm type or Daisy Chain Serial type ) and make a program to send the commands to the servo controller card

a simpler and cheaper way to do what you need is to use an electro valve or solenoid
may be you can consider use an electro valve, thats is use in automatization of fluids, such as washing, where to put your hands under the faucet, water comes out.

the price depends on the size and voltage to the solenoid works.

if use the electrovalve connect the output of the dc conver at electrovalve and the wires of alimentacion of dc converter at to switch that you have.
