I would recommend you to have a look at the matlab example included in the following folder:

webots/projects/languages/matlab/controllers/matlab/matlab.n

which uses a Webots camera from Matlab.

Oh, you meant a real webcam. Then, it's up to you to interface it with a Webots controller using whatever language you are comfortable with (C, C++, Java, Python, Matlab, etc.). But you can also use the "virtual" camera included in the Webots model of DARwIn-OP.

i didn't have the robot yet, that's why i am trying to use the webcam instead of the robot's camera.

DARwIn-OP model in Webots

Hi,

The DARwIn-OP model provided with the latest version of Webots (6.4.4) already include a camera device which allows you to retrieve the images taken from the robot point of view (and do whatever image processing you need). Can't you use it? Or maybe you mean something else with "webcam"?
