hi ,
i was quite impressed with these two robots but the prices seem huge if you compare them to say the robovie mv3 which although sloweer has similar dof s .
cycloid 2 = $20000

cycloid 3 =$7000

why is this? are they really that much better made , eg materials and servos etc.?

the servos alone are $2600.

then you get the other hardware and the other construction parts.

But the main place you money goes is the luxury of someone else designing and biulding you what in effect is a custom bot as I would guess they don't sell many, as the market for top end bots is every limited.
