Again, thats what I'd been thinking but good to have someone confirm it.
I was fairly certain that the 5.0V is used to supply the circuitry while the signal is just interpreted for the movement required etc.... From my observations with a scope, the PWM seemed to be around the 5V level even though the voltage was up at 10.8
Hopefully what I want to achieve should be do-able. I'll order the servo's and start chopping early in the week.
