Hi Ray,
Welcome to the forum!

There was lots of discussions a while back about creating custom body armor for popular humanoid robots ( http://robosavvy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=481 ). Manoi was the first model to come with a good looking plastic dress and Kondo is planning on releasing a body armor for its KHR2HV humanoid.

It would be great to have some clever shell design that fits Robonova or Bioloid.

Welcome and not far from me either...

As limor says, shells are a nice idea, how about one for the KHR-1HV. something not quite so bubbly and playful as the manoi. A little but more aggressive....

There is another thread, cant locate it straight away, that was discussing custom parts etc. Might be right up your street..
