Anyone know anything about the NX-25Q? I am %100 unfamiliar with it and was wondering if anyone has any info on it or experiences.

I have already read those and the review in robot magazine but I cant find anything anywhere that gives specifics on the board. I also found out that is has a low power problem that blows out servos. The manufacturer says they are working on the low voltage problem, whether it has been fixed or not I don't know.

Didn't you say, "I am %100 unfamiliar with it".

Did you read through all the docs on the manufacturer's website?

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the board is a single board clone of the old Kondo RCB1. Even the servo speed settings are the same. And it's only 1 degree resolution, and under powered servos.

These aren't the droids you're looking for. Move along.

If the retail price was under $500 it'd be a winner but at anything above $700 this model is not going to sell a single unit
(to anyone who has spent 30 seconds searching google for alternatives)

True enough, though I'm not sure that it would be a winner even if they dropped the price. The RoboPhilo, which from the photos in Robot Magazine looks a lot better, is supposed to be priced under $500.

Of course they're both total unknowns at this point, but if I had to choose between them based on what we already know, the RoboPhilo would win hands down.
