ZISC processors for pattern matching in robots

Anyone has any experience in using ZISC (Zero Instruction Set Computers) processors for pattern matching (such as video or audio) in robotics?

Just as a short abstract: ZISC processors are basically hardware neural networks which use the inherent features of neural networks for pattern matching without any programmatic instruction sets.

For example, Recognetics' chip.

Anyone?

Hi Aviad,
This chip looks very interesting!
they have a demo board with FPGA and a CMOS camera and USB.
If they also provide decent PC software for configuration and some libraries to query the board via serial from a microcontroler.. and the price is half decent.. this is the killer board for robotic research!

Limor,

It does sound extremely interesting. That's why I was interested to know if anyone around here had any experience with them. I'll dig into the details once I have a robot to play with, and I'll post if I have any findings.. (might take a few weeks though.. slow shipment..)
