hi everyone
ive been looking at robo one on you tube and other sites for the last week and i feel im getting hooked into anouther expensive hobby but before i start sheding cash i could do with some advice
the real part of these robots i whant to get involved in is the fighting and im needing advice on what robot to buy to suit this the robot of most interest is black blade and a bobot on youtube with huge blue hands the vid was called Robo One - Fight 1
can any one tell me witch would be a short stocky bot that has claw hands that could be moded to something similar to them or the model witch they have used to creat them as i whant it to be a ferous fighter
also is the programing easy to work out as ive not had any expereince with robotics before im a rc man normaly but im thinking this would be a worthy change to something more chalenging like this as ive just had rockcrawlers and nitro monster trucks upto now

looking forward to hereing you opinions and sergestions
thanx jase

Hi Jason,

Your best bet is to get a Robonova and modify it.
Have a look at :

Take a look at the marvelous progression of RoboOne humanoids that "Humanoid Robot" Master-Builder Matt Bauer has created (Rook's Pawn I, II, III), since he began modifying his Robonova. Look at his postings here in the RoboSavvy forum, his articles in back issues and the current issue of Robot Magazine,

http://www.botmag.com/

and his web site at:

http://www.bauerindependents.com/

Matt has also created martial arts software code for Robonova which is posted at the Hitec site

http://www.hitecrobotics.com/

and Matts company web site mentioned above. This code is the basis of RoboOne fighting robots.
