            Although the original Kondo KHR-1 has not been in production for a number of years, we recently acquired a kit that had never been assembled.  It has been quite an experience to assemble the grand-daddy of all humanoid robots, and we have documented our experience.  In addition to building the robot, we also tackled problems common to the KHR-1 including servos that shake, and installing a radio control device.
