Forum profile not working for me
Forum profile not working for me

When I change my profile information, and click submit, everything seems ok. But when I look at my posts, the information is not there. If I go back to the profile editing page my changes are gone. I've tried Firefox 3.5, IE7 and IE8.
Anyone else have the same problem? Am I missing something?

Hi veltrop
At Robosavvy we use a "bridge" to unify the authentication system with joomla and phpBB
However unfortunately this method does not work 100%.... The issues you mention are a known issue with our system at Robosavvy.
About 1 year ago we worked hard on the integration to overcome a lot of annoying behaviours but this one is still the only one left behind.
If you'd like please send me a Private Message with the changes you want to apply and I'll apply them on the backend.
I hope this works for now.
We are looking at upgrading the whole system to Joomla 1.5 and phpBB 3 and by then we expect all these issues to be solved.
