Well thank you, but you shouldn't go out of your way on my account. We probably won't be booking a flight 'til December, and that wouldn't leave you w/ much time in the way of planning. This is your gig, make us come to you :D

We're looking forward to meeting everyone... this'll be cool!

hello rep001

if we make it the weekend 3/4th Febuary 2007. then we can work from there. it so fare away people will be able to arrrange there time to make it.

if you can find a venue that would be great. I would but I'm in bristol so don't know that many places to have it in london.

I also think we should have a couple of small events, I think robo fighting
 , stair walking and a straight line race. this should give people a goal for there creations and a bit of fun at the event.

Can we have a show of hands for the date and location so that me and rep001 know how many people are up for the location and date.

I have received a contact with someone at Kings College. I'll pass the details to rep001.

I spoke today with someone from a a popular UK TV show who is doing the research for a program that will talk about toy/hobby robots. I proposed that we (ie: UK members of this forum) will organize a robo-one style humanoid match with several robots.

This would be an opportunity for some of us to meet up around November 13 and subject our robots 20 seconds of fame (the actual shooting will take several hours).

If you guys are interested in participating please email asap me and i'll give you his details.

I can do the 3 Feb in London. But not the 4th (wifes birthday).

Got a RN1 and Bioloid and happy to bring both. The Bioloid is in the King Spider configuration at the moment (looks good but difficult to program with natural looking moves).

Will the Feb event be a Humoinod robot form only? Dont mind converting the Bioloid into the Humanoid form specially for the meetup.

BillB you can bring you bioloid in any form, I think there will be other bioloid in robo1 for anyway. So it looks like every ones OK with the 3/4 feb thing. I would prefer the Sat, because we could have some beers and stuff and not worry about work in the morning, seeing people will be travelling from all other the place this would be good.

rep001 - any more info about a possible location, spoken to the uni that limor said about.
