LEDs are essential parts of robots, and here is an introduction on the basic LEDs installing.
What makes a LED work is a small bit of chemical that when electrons are passed through, it emits radiation, which is exactly lights.

By changing this chemical compound, you can in effect change the wavelength emitted - infrared, green/blue/red, near-ultraviolet, etc. That's why LED lights such as LED down lights can be turned to different colors.

I am desperately trying to track down a supplier, retailer, in fact anyone who sells a large fluorescent ring light that I can use for fashion photography.

I used one recently at a studio and it blew my socks off! TO clarify I'm NOT looking for a ring FLASH but a fluorescent or even LED ring light.
