Anyone knows how Nintendo Wii Controller works ? The wireless technology is it proprietary or something more common ?

I answer myself. The conexion remote-console is Bluetooth. :-)

Yep it is, and there are actually already people reading the sensor data on their PC:

Also see http://www.wiili.org/Wiimote for further information. Might just be an option to add parts of the Wiimote to a robot for linear acceleration sensing. 8O :D

Because your game memory is stored locally. To play your saved games at a friends house, you would need to take your wii with you.
