Hi

I look at the servo-motor Dynamixel, they seem great but they are high price.

here my questions

a) for a 1 meter biped robot, what would be the best motor for it. and why not using hydrolic cylinder to move part ?

b) it's there a cheaper alternative for Dynamixel that could do the same task and precision.

c) does Dynamixel will fit my need for a 1 meter robot?. Also the robot may be lift parts sometime so does Dynamixel have that torque?.

any link for small cylinder for robot will help... I didn't see it on robosavvy.
there's probaly a special controller for cylinder and probaly electronic valve. someone already done this before?

thanks
