Probably there are tests with really autonomous armed robots but currently it seems that they are radio-controlled.
I think that both options used against humans are even more unethical that common conventional war, it's like firing against undefended/unarmed people (they have no chance to use their guns).
I know that historically there had been very similar situations, or worse, like nuclear or chemical weapons (WMD), but I find this new way of "telekilling" o telecontrolling, in such an "clean & easy" way, very disturbing.
