Just books related to bipedal robotics, or robotics in general?

"Robot Builder's Bonanza"
Gordon Mc Comb, and Myke Predko.

ISBN: 0-07-146893-5

Great book, has lots of useful information on basic bot building. Has about 10 diffrent ways listed to run motors in an H-bridge configuration.

It is also a good idea to get a solid intro to electonics.
For that I recommend the 300-in-1 kit which comes with a great step-by-step experiment book. The experiments get pretty hard pretty fast and you may want to augment your theoretical knowledge as you progress through these experiments through google and wikipedia.

In the US it is branded Elenco 300-in-1 and in Europe it is branded Maxitronix 300-in-1. Costs about $60.

I remember the book 'Mobile Robots' by Joseph L. Jones. It explains a lot about robotics and it is a guide to build the mighty Rug Warrior. I built one and it was a pleasure reading the books while I was building the robot.

I miss a book like this one but about humanoids. Anyone ? :-)
