I'm not clear on what you mean by 'body sets'. The AT01 comes standard with a set of clear polycarbonate body shells that you can trim, paint, decorate using the same techniques that the RC car folks use for their car bodies.
Kyosho is also selling an optional set of opaque black polycarbonate shells. There's some rumors about third parties coming out with other body shell designs for the AT01, but no one's announced publically yet.
Beyond that, there are quite a few online resources covering vacuum forming polycarbonate shells for the hobbyist. One nice thing about the process is you can use balsa wood to fabricate the shapes, then draw the polycarbonate over them, so you don't need any heavy machining equipment.
The 'add-ons' are pretty straight forward. The AT01 uses the Kondo RCB-3 controller and KRS-4024S HV servos. So the KHR-2HV optional add-ons like the gyros, accelerometer, remote control, etc work fine.
The AT01 manual also includes sections with detailed instructions and exploded assembly drawings showing how to do two major mods. First, you can add an additional DOF to each arm by using additional 4024 servos and what appear to be standard Kondo parts. Second, you can add hip rotation by using a KRS-2350 HV servo and some additional parts.
Note: I haven't tried either mod yet, so I could be off-base, or it could end up being more difficult than it looks. Your mileage may vary.
