Hi, I have just purchased an I-sobot all seems fine with the robot but the remote comes on functions fine for about 3 seconds and then the screen fades and it loses power? Please can anybody help with what may be wrong? Could it be a capasitor or dry joints which are the problem? Any help appreciated.

i have an i sobot but i dont have this problem nor have i heard of it. but i would be willing to help you troubleshoot the remote by comparing test results with you if youd like.

Thanks for the reply, I've sent it away for repair. Hopefully they will be able to fix it.
I'll keep you updated.
Thanks again for the offer & thanks for taking the time to reply.

My remote has exactly the same fault. Tried to find the fault but no joy. Where did you send your remote for repair and did they manage to repair it? Love this little robot and cant find a source for a replacement remote.

Best Regards
Brian
