Competition will be held on Saturday 30th June 2007

at Millennium Point,

in the Thinktank Theatre

Birmingham


Ive been talking with limor and he kind said he would donate some small prizes and I will bring a couple of bottles of wine.

The events:

2 minute demo
2 min Fight
10m dash

and plenty of other small events on the day.

I'm definitely interested. If I go I'll be travelling up from Newbury, Berkshire. Happy to share lifts with peeps from Reading, Basingstoke, Southampton, Swindon etc. Can take five Peter Pans plus all the kit you want to take.

Need to verify attendance with She Who Knows All.

Edit: Will be going up from Bristol. Offer of lifts still applicable but attendance is by no means definite

How far is Birmingham from Oxford? I might actually be able to attend this one... maybe.

Birmingham is reachable from Oxford. If I was at home that weekend Oxford would be on my way to Birmingham and as such I'd offer you a lift. As it is we'll be in Bristol Friday night and it doesn't make sense to go to Oxford before going to Birmingham. And unfortunately I need to pick up Jo on the way home from Bristol so I won't even be returning that way.

Trains from Oxford to Birmingham are probably pretty frequent (check out http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ or http://www.thetrainline.co.uk/) and I think it's a direct line. Car is very easy too as it's pretty much one motorway (freeway) all the way to Birmingham.

Of course this gives me a little over a week to get my Bioloids running!

It's differently on, I've got prizes and every thing.

There will be a good bash, saves are bots getting lonely.

It also make me get of my ass and finish all the little bits

Entry to the competition arenas will be via Thinktank reception on floor L1 - not the main entrance to Thinktank which is on floor G0.

the micromouse comp starts at 8.30, I will be there from there but you guys don't have to be there before about 10. We have pit areas and there will be refreshments and the like. Have the prizes been made as we speak.

Had an idea about a swap shop at Robogames so if anybody has any spare robo bits and bobs then bring them along.
