Hi,
I am looking at setting this up for Saturday the 19th April.
It will take place in a Village Hall near Bicester. lots of tables, chairs, power, etc.
If we can spread the word around, and see if we can get the numbers up. I can't see it being much of a spectator event, but friends/family are fine.
The booking of the hall would depend on the number of people confirmed as attending. If there is not enough interrest, we can always hold something in my garage (amongst the old Robotwars junk)
Just a bit of fun and a chance to get some more regular events for the UK.
The cost of the hall is only about £3.50 each if 10 people turned up. There is a pub that serves food close by and a supermarket 5 minutes away.
Although we are a humanoid group, feel free to invite anyone along who has something interresting and remotely robotic to display/chat about. Or I might have to bore you all with video's of my robots being trashed on Robotwars
I might add a link to this thread on my forum signature just to keep the profile up.
