It was a fun day. The robots had advanced noticeably since the last time we all met. Particularly in the stair climb in which 3 robots competed (only one competed at the last meet). Two out of the three successfully completed the stair climb. (I think there was only one stair climbing robot in the 2008 Robogames)
The Bioloids from StuartL and Random Matt were absolutely fascinating with their Inverse Kinematics. Once refined, their work really will push hobby robotics onto the next level. Can't wait.

As is often pointed out on RobotDreams.com - the fun of these types of meets are not the formal events - but what happens behind the scenes. This was absolutely true at this event, the adhoc robot rumbles were great fun and it was great to spend so much time chatting and sharing ideas with so many people who have similar interests in Robots.
