We have received some inquiries regarding hip rotation.
So the answer is that the 5710K will have hip rotation extension available soon.

The HUNO platform that you can build with 5710K kit doesn't have the hip
rotation. But as shown in page 36 of the manual, it can be upgraded to have
the hip rotation. You need to buy additional pair of metal brackets to do
this. This bracket will be available for order within a month.

Hi Limor/Pedro

This will defiantly be a "mod" i will try.
Do you have a link to PDF version of the build manual, to look at, I requested one from Jeffrey at Robobuilder, but he redirected me to you?

Thank you..It looks like its going to be an excellent robot, although there are always a few unpleasant surprises/ hurdles.. I learned that with RN...should be fun :? :( :o :D

Torso rotation, might it need the higher power servos, sorry wCKs ("Chicks" for short?) eg wCK-1413-K?

It would be also nice to see a compact integrated pan and tilt "Chick" for the Head Sensors.....?

There is plenty of space inside the Robobuilder's chest and between the two servos for the arms. So I guess that with some imagination and work one can fit a mechanism to have head movement.
Maybe even replace the head altogether and attach a video camera to it...

Pedro :)
