Hi all

Just wanted to let you know that we now have the Robobuilder wCK User's Manual online.
It can be found here http://robosavvy.com/RoboSavvyPages/Robobuilder/robobuilder-creator-users-manual.pdf

The manual includes the technical details about the servos (incl. PID control), the comunication protocol, joint-insert assembly, and some examples on how to program the Robot/Servo's using C.

If you're interested, please take a look at it as it's one of the best ways to understand the strengths and capabilities of the wCK servos and Robot Kit itself.

I see your version is 1.05, the version at the robobuilder site is 1.07.

This prompts the question as to how the wCK software is upgraded.

Hey I'm calling them wCK not servos now, not sure about WingChick though. Give me time !

Hi i-Bot

I've updated the manual on the website. It is now v. 1.07. It was my mistake to post an outdated version. My appologies for that.

About the wCK software upgrade I am not sure I fully understand your question.
However here is the explanation about robobuilder software:
The kit has been released recently by the manufacturer itself. In fact the ActionBuilder, which is fundamental for behavior programming, was released very recently.
It is to expect that more info and minor updates are released within the near future.

Specifically for wCK tweaking there is a utility called "wCK programmer".

Here are some screenshots:
wCK programmer:

I'm sorry the picture is so blurry but it's the only one we have available at the moment.

Full programming options/tools:

The intro page for Robobuilder will be updated with this new information soon.

About the wCK, I think we can actually call them wCKs lol. After all they are an evolution of the classic servo with support for drop-down uart, pid control, etc.

Here is some additional info about the servos, I mean wCKs  , you may be interested in:

I tried the wCK programmer software and it seems to work OK for most part. However I was keen to try changing PID and use the graph view. When I click "ViewGraph" I get the error " " is not a valid integer"
