Hi all

We have just got some new info/technical details on robobuilder:

1. JoyRemocon Software
The JoyRemocon is used to map PC joystick keys to robobuilder. The commands are sent via bluetooth or serial port.

The full manual is here http://robosavvy.com/RoboSavvyPages/Robobuilder/Guide_for_RBC_JoyRemocon.pdf

2. Designing a remote control system
We also got the technical specs for robobuilder communication with remote control devices.
The document explains the communications protocol and the tech details so you build your own wired or wireless remote control.

The JoyRemocon Software is included in the CD that comes with Robobuilder Bluetooth Communication kit.

However the communication protocol is fully described in the docs posted on the forum so it should be fairly easy to do a tool like that.

I will give it a try and will post back the results

Hi Zacohk

I finally completed the RBC JoyRemocon clone.

Check the thread here: http://robosavvy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=18813#18813

The ultimate purpose is to control the robot with a PS2 joypad attached to the computer.
