Hi
We just got new pictures of the Metal Bracket set and also the Hip Pivot kit.
Apparentlly there will be 3 versions of the Metal Braket Set:
1- Metal Brackets for leg joints only
2- Metal Brackets for leg and arm joints + Chest protection
3- Metal Brackets for leg and arm joints + Chest Protection + Hip Protection (with Hip pivot kit) + Metal claws.
Here are the pictures:
1- Metal Brackets for leg joints only
2- Metal Brackets for leg and arm joints + Chest protection
3- Metal Brackets for leg and arm joints + Chest Protection + Hip Protection (with Hip pivot kit) + Metal claws.
Notice the Hip Pivot kit assembled here. Also note that these pictures display a Robot with a lot more servo's than the standard kit.
and before anyone asks, these kits are intended to make the robot ready to participate in Robo-one like competitions.
the plastic joint-insert assembly system works very well on day-to-day use. the metal brackets set is only needed if you want to re-inforce the robot for tough competitions (or if you like the aggressive looks
