RBC Firmware 2.15 upgrade probs

Anyone else had problems with upgrading firmware ?
Out of the box, my RBC had firmware ver 2.0f. I've downloaded the lastest Firmware Upgrade Tool and firmware V2.15 from Robobuilder.net
When I try and load this latest firmware to the RBC, I get an error mesage "Did not receive a response after sending line 3565" and the upgrade fails.
I have managed to get firmware ver 2.09 in and running without any problems, but 2.15 continues to bounce ! I've DL'd the files again in case they got scrambled somehow, but to no avail.

I can live with 2.09 as is supports the accelerometer, but ama little concerned I may have problems with future firmware !?

Cheers,

Tim

Apparently there was a mix up when creating the 2.15 firmware :

Hi Tim,

I sent your question to Robobuilder people to see if they had had
similar problems which they say they haven't.

- Out of the box, the RBC had firmware ver 2.0f.
* this was version 2.15, they just made a software blunder when
displaying this in not converting the hexadecimal 0xf to its decimal
equivalent 15.

Attached is ver 2.15 (which I assume you already have) - can you try
this firmware and let me know how you get on.

// End Quote

The attached firmware can be found here :

http://robosavvy.com/Builders/Jivesinger/RBC_2.15.zip

Not sure whats going on, but the attached firmware uploaded to the RBC without a prob, although it still reports as V2.0f, while the V2.15 from the Robobuilder website still refuses to go.

Anyhow, its in and works.

Let me know how you go nt23......
