Hi
The assembly instructions for Metal Brackets are available here:
http://robosavvy.com/RoboSavvyPages/Rob ... _20DOF.pdf
Robobuilder sent the Metal Brackets assembly information for a full 20 DOF robot (Leg Brackets, Chest, Arm Brackets, Optional 2 DOF for Hip, Optional 2 additional DOF for arms)
The instructions are clear enough for you to understand how to assemble the parts you want/need.
For 16 DOF Huno Metal Brackets assembly:
- Skip steps 5 to 17 (there are two steps 17; skip the first and perform the second).
Make sure you assemble servos 0 and 5 in the their normal position for 16 DOF (see the printed manual you received with your robot).
- On steps 34 to 66 (arm assembly) make sure to adapt to your 16 DOF accordingly. You may need to consult the printed manual that came with your Robobuilder.
For Hip Pivot Assembly:
- Follow steps 5 to 17 ONLY.
- You will need to reprogram the 2 additional servos to ID 16 & 17.
To reprogram the ID of the servos, please follow the instructions available here
http://robosavvy.com/RoboSavvyPages/Rob ... nglish.pdf
For Metal Brackets Kit + Hip Pivot (18 DOF):
- Follow all steps except 34 to 66 (arm assembly).
For arm assembly please adjust accordingly to 16 DOF. You may need to consult the printed manual that came with your Robobuilder.
There are a couple of spots on the manual that would benefit with some improvement. I will request this and post back if we receive a revised document.
Cheers
Pedro.
