Hi guys
First of all I wanted to greet you since it's been quite come time since I've been posting active projects here
But just to assure you are not forgotten, I am speaking to the manufacturer of the VRbot voice recognition module to produce a version compatible with Robobuilder. The module is quite cheap I think and yet it looks very promising.
The module was first advertised here for Robonova I and TTL applications

(the post includes a video and also tech specs)
However from what I understand a simple modification in the format that the module outputs when a command is recognized will make it compatible with Robobuilder.
ie if they can output a command in the REMOCON format it can emulate the pressing of buttons to walk, play motions and play actions.
Assembly would also be quite simple if you can just connect it to the Head connector or the PC jack.
The only thing I'm not really sure is where the head connector / IR receiver wires go.
Do you recall if they go directly to the UART or some other pin on the ATMEGA?
Pedro.
