Hi all

Just wanted to let you know we have added the Robobuilder 5710K Robosavvy Christmas Edition 09

This is a special edition that we (Robosavvy) are running this year and it consists of:

- Standard 5710K-S03 (the S03 versions include the 4th gear in metal in all servos).

- Head with Distance Sensor (Sharp)

- Triaxial Acceleration Sensor (already soldered inside the RBC)

In addition I have compiled a lot more resources on programming Robobuilder (there are many options now ranging from beginner to expert).

The price has increased slightly (by 10 GBP) as Robobuilder clearly asked us to make some separation between this version and the standard one.

The product page is here http://robosavvy.com/store/product_info ... cts_id/445

In addition, we have stocked a few RBC-YNN (the RBC controllers that have voice output) and the Acceleration Sensor is already offered pre soldered inside.
Initially we were not intending to stock these but in the end we thought this could be a nice Christmas gift to all those Robobuilders out there ;)
This new RBC should be in store next week.

Regards
Pedro.

I'm seriously considering buying this kit + Hexapod Complementary Kit. But I have a lot of questions...

You know, I come from Bioloid and I only have knowledge about RoboBuiler from reading the manuals.

These are currently my firsts questions:

1.- 5720T Humanoid Robot Kit 71 pcs of joint parts (12 types)
vs
RoboBuilder 5710K Robot Kit 39x Plastic Joint parts (12 types)

Ooops, I thought that the only difference were the T for "transparent" (well, "Transparent servos with Color LEDs.")

For modularity and differents creations it seems that 71 is more interesting than 39, isn't it?

2.- AX-12+ (12 kg/cm at 7V, 16 kg/cm at 10V)
vs
12 x servos wCK-1108T (8 kg/cm)
4 x servos wCK-1111T (11 kg/cm)

Does AX-12+ really have 2x wCK-1108T power?
And, specially, it's really noticeable?

Thanks a lot!
