Hi
I had already posted this on another thread but would like to bring it to top level.
In the shipment of Robobuilder Christmas Edition, we have also included a few
RBC Controllers YNN with Voice Output and the Acceleration Sensor already inside.
We thought of it as a way to extend your existing 5710K to their maximum potential: we have always offered the distance sensor and with this new controller you can complete all the features available for any Robobuilder.
The only thing left out is the Bluetooth Module, although the headers for those are also pre-soldered inside so it's just a matter of fitting it onto the socket.
Another thing that we aimed at with this new controller, is taking advantage of
all the new programming options that became available for Robobuilder in that last year.
This is something really worth mentioning because Robobuilder is now probably the robot with the most programming options and platforms available, supplied by both the manufacturer and contributed by our community.
I place special emphasis on the work by l3v3rz, in particular the VS .NET libraries.
These are compatible with the free Microsoft Visual Studio Express and open the door to adding really good capabilities to the robot:
One of my favorite examples is using OpenCV for Vision Recognition and relaying commands to the robot according to that.
Here are the resources:
- RBC-YNN Controller with Voice + Acceleration Sensor:
http://robosavvy.com/store/product_info ... cts_id/590
- Compilation of all Documentation and Programming Options available for Robobuilder:
http://robosavvy.com/store/product_info ... cts_id/445 (this is the main page for the 5710; you need to scroll down to the "Documentation" section where you'll find all the information)
Regards
Pedro.
