In the actuality i have a bioloid, i like it, but the robobuilder is similar and more funny for create dances and player with leds.

I would like know your experiencies with this robot?

Also, i have a question, with kondo khr3 the interface is easy for create moves funny, as dance, kung fu etc.. i like animate the robots very much.

thanks you

Hi Nihon

We've been in contact with Robobuilder and they haven't mentioned any plans to upgrade the robot in the near future.

Therefore we believe the 5710 and 5720 will still be around for some time.

We're also running some specials on RoboSavvy where we're packing the robots with a lot of extras (the 5720T - the one with LEDs - is currently being sold with all the Sensors + Free Bluetooth module for wireless programming or control).

As for KHR 3HV it is also a very nice robot. It doesn't have the coloured leds (it looks more serious) but the software is also very good and easy to use once you learn how to do it.

Both the 5710K and KHR 3HV have Catch and Play so it's easier to create basic motions and then fine tune them on the computer.

Thanks you for the information and helper. Then this robobuilder have life for much time more ^^. I have a questions:

I must or should buy the robobuilder with the hip pivot and the metal frames? for do my first animations with this robots or is better will buy in the future.

Also I would like know if is possible put a new battery more powerfull. I have seen in some videos from youtube this robobuilder running and moves more fast.

Kondo is a great robot, but i´m beginner and i think i must start the first doing things really easily aren´t?

I think the robobuilder have better moves than bioliid for create dances and moves more funny for show the people and funny. Bioliid is great robot and very good for do much things, but is than high the moves the her light haven´t much free as a bioloid, this is a opinion personality. Bioloid is more famous, best servos, controller etc...

I like do this type of animation when i put do some for aibo dances i loved it robot, for me this is hobby for the moment, for that i have much dudes and unknow much things robot´s world.

Really i like listen more people from forum can talk and have opnion about this robobuilder transparent.

Thankas you agaian Robosavy the helper, if you can tell me a bit more information i will be glad of listen it.

Hi Nihon

You can always buy the accessories later.

I would start by buying the base Robot (the 5720T is the model that comes most equipped if you get it from us) and maybe the Metal Joints just to start.

Then later as you progress buy the Metal Brackets and the Hip Pivot Kit.
Programming moves on the Robot with the Hip Pivot Kit installed is a lot more complicated so I reccomend that you don't buy that at this time.
The reason why it is more complicated is because the Robobuilder with Hip Kit adds 2 more servos (for a total of 18 servos) which mena syou need to program the moves in "Custom Platform" mode.

If you start with the Robobuilder without the Hip Pivot Kit (only the standard 16 servos) you program the operate the robot in "HUNO" mode which is designed for beginners and is a lot easier.

With regards to the battery you can replace the battery for LiPo but that's a custom project. Again I reccommend you do it only at a later point when you are more comfortable with the Robot.
Changing the battery will also void your warranty so please be careful.

If you like the robot to program dances, etc than the transparent is funnier because you can also program the lights to turn on and off to coordinate with the moves you program.

Regards
