Robobuilder power off servo status

What should happen when the robot is powered off? Should all servos hold their position?

On my 5710K which I have just built it seems that the knee servos lose their lock when power is removed and relax causing the robot to lay down on its back!

All the others seem to stay put, but maybe it just that the knees are supporting the full weight of the robot!

Should they lock in some way??

Thanks

Dear TJ

This is the normal behavior.

The servos need to have power in order to hold their position. Once you power down the robot the servos loose their strength.

The leg servos, will be the first to "collapse" as they are the ones holding all the weight. However if you move any of the other servos (arms for example) you will see they don't have any "force" and you can move them freely.

Regards
Pedro.
