Is there a better remote control for robobuilder which allows full control?
I have seen some people use playstation controllers with them.
Im looking for a wireless one which will allow for constant motions.

If you look back through the posts here on the forum, you will find plenty of examples for alternative remote controls including playstation controllers and mobile phones.
Bluetooth or other wireless is obviously much better than the IR used by the standard remote.
In the standard software constant motions can be emulated as a series of small sub motions(start walk, step forward, step forward right, step forward left, stop walk). Alternative firmware gives more options if you have programming skills.

I'd also like to add a note after i-Bot's (excellent) response:

Probably the most popular method of controlling Robobuilder at the moment is using an Android Phone.
You will need to have the Robobuilder Bluetooth Module installed (see here : http//robosavvy.com/store/robobuilder+bluetooth )

There is a standard version of the Remote Control software available from Android market and a more feature complete and "eye catching" one developed by l3v3rz (see here http://code.google.com/p/robobuildervc/ ... roidClient )

Please note that we (RoboSavvy) are only able to offer support for the official one (that is downloaded from the Android market).
We've tested the one from l3v3rz and can say it also works very well though :)

One other advantage of using the Android device fro controlling the Robobuilder is that over BT there is "continuous walk" functionality.

This means that the robot will keep walking continuously while you keep the Forward or backward button pressed when using the Android app.
This is something that is not possible with the IR remote for example.

Regards
Pedro.

I've created a basic free bluetooth remote android app and posted on Google play.

This app allows you to use your smartphone as a bluetooth remote control replacement for the IR robo remote included with the RoboBuilder robot kit.
Find it on Google play:
