just got a roboard...and fried it :(

Based on DMP's Vortex processor / SoC this board is a full computer capable of running a standard Windows and Linux installation on the backpack of your robot.

I just applied power from an AC/DC adapter. I suspect it may have been a polarity issue. I've since tried applying power from 4 AA batteries...the burnt component just heats up...no response from the board.

Its repairable. Its only an low ESR Elco from Epcos. Normally u can fix it.But i dont think its the only thing you send to hell :(
