I bought a few weeks ago a rb100, and following the tips in the forum I was able to install windows xp, then I began to try Linux versions through unetbootin, and the best for me was SliTaz, who recognized the hardware (ethernet , Sound, etc), and the installation was only a few minutes.

You have to burn the liveCD, run on a PC and then there is an option to create the USB installation in the System Tools menu

Create the USB installation, insert the USB into the roboard, turn it on and follow the instructions. =) You have to choose between Xorg and Xvesa, the 2 options works well.

Once installed, the boot time is a few seconds

Now I can control it via VNC =)

Well, sorry for my poor english :P

Did you try it with a micro-sd instead of a USB pen drive?

I was running liveCD in a virtual machine and it send me some errors when partitioning the uSD, but the creation of the USB installer was good. :)

Managed to get my SD card installed.

I think it has an issue if u format it using ext3.

argos, how did you get the sound card to work ?
