What are your requirements? What is it that distinguishes "dedicated for robotics" in your application?
You can find a number of small PC's out there, and couple them with USB-based I2C, GPIO, etc. These solutions will be larger, consume more power, and likely cost significantly more.
As for a solution including a mix of features like Roboard, there are no others of the size or features or capabilities or low power consumption of Roboard. You can search for other Vortex86-based solutions, that might be sufficient for your supervisor.
Depending on your application, there may be other possibilities. For a biped like the KHR's or Robonova's or other, there is no other solution that comes close.
