Hi all

I was wondering if it is possible to interface the roboard gyros and accelerometers with any other controllers, mainly an Arduino or sanguino?

Didn't know where else to put this post, feel free to move to where appropriate.

Cheers

In theory, roboard sensor modules (G144, G145, G146) work on every microcontroller with the standard I2C interface.

If you look up the chips used on the modules, there are probably arduino libraries available already.

Alternatives are available from Sparkfun(Robosavvy)

Just watch out for the I2C levels. The modules use 3.3V. Check your Arduino flavour uses the same or make voltage conversion.

Thank you, managed to get the 144 acceloremter working but not the gyro or compass, cant get head round the c++ example code either. has anyone got any suggestions? Will post my working accelormeter code when back at computer.

Thanks
