I'm developing a IR-tracker extension board for the Roboard RB-110, and I couldn't find the power properties of the I2C-port. There are 2 powerlines, 3.3V and 5V, but how much power can they safely deliver (to power IR-leds)? Any way I can find out without burning a board?

The 5v supply powers USB as well, so as long as the traces where you pick it off can hold it, 500 mA from 5v? I think 5v supply, 100 mA or less, is probably safe. I have no idea how much reserve is available on 3.3v...
