Hi Folks,

Thought you might like to see video of a CM510 using the HaViMo2 via a RoboPlus Task script to drive a pan & tilt setup. I posted the script to the forum quite a while back http://robosavvy.com/Builders/garycmart ... st.tsk.zip but only just got the chance to video it in action:

Now I'm finally back in action, I'm looking forward to refining the script and generating some interesting vision based behaviours :)

Regards,

Looks neat.

Can you show how you did the pan/tilt ? Is it with AX12 ?

Thanks, yea it is just two AX12 servos. The one you can see in the head for tilt, and one inside the main casing for pan (that's why I needed to move the two shoulder arm servos outside the casing, as there's not enough room inside for three).

I've slowly been posting images to a Flickr set as I make modifications away from the default Humanoid type A:

Hi,

Check that the servos are configured correctly (Baud rate and ID) and the IDs are the same as used in the source code.

Best regards,
Hamid.

Hi,

It seems that the motors are having the correct Baudrate, else you could not connect to them.
Of course you also need to calibrate the camera module, before you can use it. You need to define which colors should be tracked. refer to my video on the forum regarding that.

Hi,hamid_m
Thank your guidance :D it's OK for the test.Thank garycmartin's program.

Another question:
How long trace the ball's distance?

Test the distance, about 40 cm, i suppose that set the color's sharp or others, could it be longer?
