When you open a POS to edit the positions using the sliders, right clicking the slider gives a menu with several option....

NONE, SERVO and FREE I understand but can someone explain the differences between SET1, SET2 and SET3 or S1,S2 and S3 as they are abbreviated on the slider..

I understand they are for reading back the current position of the servo to aid learning but all 3 seem to return a different value.

I think it has nothing to do with learning.

It seems to be linked to the ICS configuration.
If you look in the KHR2 manual at page 55 (japanese version the english is probably the same), it's were the SET1/SET2/SET3 configuration is explained.

Thanx for that shsan

makes sense now, it basically determines which ICS setting you want to use for the current pose. Very clever.

I've not delved too deep into the ICS profiles yet so I'll stick with the default stuff but at least I know now...

Thank you...

BTW did you spot my question about commands in your other thread on API?
